I saw a dream!
It was a summer night!
An old lady with a blue, feathered hat, Stopped me on a wooden bridge.
There were lot of big plants around.
She held my arm tight and told me;
YOU ARE HMNTRN!
I was surprised, looking in her eyes!
She repeated;
YOU- ARE-
HMNTRN!
I prepared many collections for companies, during my leather career, approaching to 10 years. These collections were exhibited in international fairs like Mifur/Milan, Pret-a -Porter / Paris, CPD/Dusseldorf, WWD Magic / Las Vegas, and so many other international fairs in Russia, Japan, Canada, Hong Kong etc.
By Le Cuir a Paris, at 14-16 september 2010, I'm starting my own collection under brandname of "Hande Fabbro".
At the same time, I'm working as a consultant for some companies .
Projects are going on, dreams are going on, and will be going on. By more and more conscious approach to the world we are living in, more and more respectful to nature and human race.
creativity is wonderful only when you feel you are useful for this world.
Having been graduated from Middle East Technical Unversity Department of Industrial Design in 1998; the first thing I did was to complete a summer project in London, at Central Saint Martins, where I was having an acceptance for BA Hons Fashion Design programme. Having been accepted to this school was a big challenge for me.
In 2001, I had prizes in 2 different fashion design contests in Istanbul, as finalist. One was organized by ITKIB (Istanbul Textile and apparels' exporters Association) and the second one was organized by Beymen Academia. These contests have opened the doors for me to start working actively in fashion and textile sector . But I was mostly interested in leather, cause I was always attracted to its seducing nature that is not compatible with any other fashion material on the world.
Creativeness is awareness!
Everyday I'm doing my job, Iam
asking to myself,
"Are you aware?"
"Of your responsibilities for this world?
"Are you bringing depth, a deep meaning to this world?"
"Are you adding a value to life, to being?"
"For the people who lives on this world...do you
really bring the light in their hearts!"
Awareness is creativity, awareness is the only success! If my job helps me to leave something stable
on this world, this would be the biggest pleasure!
